　　瑞昱半导体在美国旧金山举行的英特尔春季科技论坛(IDF)推出最新一代的高清音频转换芯片(High Definition Audio Codec, HD Audio Codec)DDALC885与ALC888 Telecom。
　　瑞昱ALC885内置内容保护与防拷(Content Protection)技术，ALC888 Telecom则可透过传统电话轻易达到VoIP/Skype的应用，这两颗新芯片不但可提供数字家庭PC的最佳音频解决方案，也为个人计算机产业竖立一个重要的里程碑。
　　瑞昱ALC885是一颗高性能的7.1加2声道的High Definition音频转换芯片，内建无失真内容保护(Lossless Content Protection)技术，并可让使用者享受到全速率(full-rate)传输的各类格式音效，包括一般DVD、蓝光DVD与HD DVD等规格音频，ALC885提供音频串流速率达96kHz/24 bit以上。
　　ALC885的DAC与ADC噪讯比(SNR)分别可达到106dB与101dB, 提供绝佳音效品质，可媲美高阶消费性音响。借着ALC885的高品质音效，计算机系统厂商可较易获得Dolby、DTS或SRS等音效厂商的商标logo，提高消费使用者的信心。瑞昱ALC885具高噪讯比优势与内容保护技术，是家庭娱乐PC的最佳音频解决方案。
　　瑞昱的另一项新产品是ALC888 Telecom，该颗新芯片(7.1+2声道) 不但具有HD Audio的先进功能，并可透过传统电话轻松拨打Skype，给使用者带来最大便利，提高网络电话(VoIP)的使用亲和力，提供一个结合音效与Skype应用功能的高经济效益解决方案。
　　另外，ALC888 Telecom提供网络电话与传统电话间弹性的转换应用，即使在停电的情况下，线路可自动从网络线路切换到传统的PSTN电话线路而可继续使用传统的电话服务，比如拨打紧急救助电话119等，提供了最大的使用弹性与便利性！
　　瑞昱ALC888 Telecom内建10个DAC声道，可同时提供7.1声道环场音效与另外2声道音源(透过计算机前板输出)；ALC888 Telecom并整合两个ADC，可支持麦克风、回音消除(Acoustic Echo Cancellation)、波束成形(Beam Forming)与噪声滤除(Noise Suppression)等功能。
