Macbook外接显卡的方案教程、问题、评测及对比收藏
现在Macbook外接显卡的方案只有两种 1是用ViDock（唯一支持OSX系统上外接显卡），2是用国产的EXP GDC（只支持英伟达产品）。使用方法基本都是一样的，先上教程，后面会有两个方案对比。教程：1、准备好以下东西：
①雷电转接线
②雷电转echo expresscard/34
③一个外置显卡盒ViDock或EXP GDC
注（ViDock支持OSX和Win7两个系统并且用自带电源就OK，支持A卡和N卡，国产的EXP GDC 只支持Win7和N卡，需要买个主机电源来用）
④一个桌面显卡（按照你的选择和上面的要求来搭配你的电脑和CPU）我使用的事GTX660冰龙版两种外接显卡装置Vidock4+EXP GDC
2、Windows下的操作方法(两种方法都是ViDock技术部门给的)：1. (optional) Set your computer to always boot in Win 7. Go to System Preferences in mac os x and as Boot Drive select Windows 7.1. （可选的） 设置你的电脑一直都启动Win 7。你可以去mac os x的系统首选项，然后选择Windows 7作为启动驱动器2. Shut down the Computer ( reboot is not sufficient )2. 关闭电脑（重启是不足够的）3. Make sure your entire setup is plugged in and on except your computer which should be turned off. (ViDock is turned on and the expresscard is plugged into the sonnet echo adapter, adapter is plugged into your macbook thunderbolt bolt. Also if you have an external monitor, it is plugged into your ViDock).3. 确定你的整个设置是插好的和通电的除了你的电脑，电脑是应该关闭的（ViDock是通电的，expresscard已经插入到sonnet echo转换头，转化头已经插入到你的macbook的thunderbolt bolt接口。如果你有一个外接显示器，也要把它连接到你的ViDock上）4. Turn on the computer. Your screen will turn grey and you will hear the Mac Chime. While the screen in white, unplug the expresscard from your sonnet echo adapter.4. 打开电脑。你的显示器会变灰色和你会听到Mac的声音。当显示器显示白色的时候，从sonnet echo转换头那里拔出expresscard。5. Your screen will now turn black. When the Windows icon appears and is loading, plug back in the expresscard to your sonnet echo adapter.5. 你的显示器应该会显示黑色。当Windows 图形出现和正在加载中的时候，把expresscard插回到sonnet echo转换头6. Wait for Windows to load. In device manager (press the home button→right click on computer→manage→device manager) there should be a VGA something next to your intel HD graphics in display adapter.6. 等待Windows加载。在设备管理器里（点解开始（home）按钮→右击电脑（computer）→管理（manage）→设备管理器（device manager））在显卡（display adapter）里那个intel HD graphics下面应该会有一个VGA什么的7. In your web browser, go to the official NVidia website and download your card’s drivers (for the 500 series, the drivers are the 306.97. Or try the latest version). Download this and install. 7. 进入你的浏览器，上Nvidia的官方网站，下载你的显卡的驱程（对于500系列的，那个驱程版本是306.97。或者尝试最新的版本）。下载后，安装它8. Once finished installing, you will need to restart your computer. Repeat steps 2-5. Your card should now be installed and can be checked through the NVidia Control Panel or by right clicking your desktop and choosing change screen resolution where you will now be able to choose your external monitor.8. 一旦安装完成了，你会需要重启电脑。重覆步骤2 - 5。 你的显卡现在应该是安装了的，你可以用Nvidia控制面板来检查或者右击桌面空白的地方然后选择显示器分辨率，这里你可以选择你的外接显示器9. Run ViDock on the notebook display.In windows 7 in the screen resolution window, the internal and external displays both show up. You are able to choose whether to show just the external screen, internal screen, or show both.? Just click on the option to "show desktop only on 2" if you want to use your external display.9. 运行ViDock在Windows 7的显示器分辨率窗口里面，内接和外接显示器都会出现。你可以选择只显示外接显示器，或者只显示内接显示器，或者两者都显示。如果你想只使用外接显示器的话，只要选择选项“只在2上显示”就行了。一切成功后，如果要使用外接显卡每次开机都必须重复第4和第5步骤（切记！）BTW：安装显卡驱动比较麻烦，电脑识别后提示成功安装VGA图形器要求重启，你必须重启，重启完后，没有提示了，此时才能安装显卡驱动。否则会一直失败（最好安装光碟上的驱动）记得每次开机都必须重复第4和第5步骤，这是必须的，不然会黑屏，大概是电脑资源分配的问题。
一下是OSX设置方法（只限ViDock）：
A Thunderbolt GPU on a Mac : How-toToday, a tutorial: how to use a Thunderbolt graphic card on Mac. This is the holy grail for some: it ispossible to use a Thunderbolt graphic card on a Mac. This is not easy and there are a few issues, but itworks pretty well.
Une version en français existeThe hardwareIn my case, I use a ViDock 3 enclosure (an ExpressCard enclosure , already used on my old MacBookPro), a Sonnet Thunderbolt to ExpressCard adapter (the Pro version, PCI-Express 2.0 compatible) and aThunderbolt cable.Concerning the graphic card, any recent NVIDIA model – I tested a GeForce GTX 260 from Zotac, aGeForce GT120 from Apple and a Quadro K5000 for Mac – works. For everyday use, I installed a fanlessGeForce GT610 (low cost) only to manage screens. AMD cards work, but with big graphic bugs, so I’dadvise you not to use it for the moment.The ViDock enclosure can be replaced by a BPlus PE4L, it’s cheaper and as effective.Overall, with a mid-range graphic card, you can manage for about 500 $.The SoftwareMac OS X, by default, simply does not support Thunderbolt GPU drivers. The reason is simple : younormally need drivers adapted to hotplug to work on Thunderbolt, and GPU drivers are not. But it isquite easy to add what is needed in the pilots to make them Thunderbolt-compatible, even if the hotplugis not supported. Then take care, if the computer cable is disconnected while on, the kernel panic is tobe foreseen.
For NVIDIA graphic cards, there are three files to edit. The first two are related to the display, the thirdone is dedicated to the support of the sound via HDMI or DisplayPort./System/Library/Extensions/NVDAStartup.kext/System/Library/Extensions/IONDRVSupport.kext/System/Library/Extensions/AppleHDA.kext/Contents/PlugIns/AppleHDAController.kext
You have to get each file, open the package (secondary click -& Show Package Contents) and open thefile Info.plist with a text editor that suppports editing system files (for example TextWrangler, in itsversion not from the Mac App Store).
In this file, look for sections beginning with &key&CFBundleIdentifier&/key& and add just before &/dict&, thetwo following lines :
&key&IOPCITunnelCompatible&/key&
Once this is done in the three files (beware, there are several occurrences in IONDRVSupport.kext), justreboot and the card should be activated and operate. In my case, it worked with all the GPU tested.
Be careful, the operation has to be repeated at each minor system update (e.g the move to 10.8.5).
Performances
The Thunderbolt barely disable graphic cards in practice. Obviously, some tasks and games are limitedby the bus (which is here equivalent to two PCI-Express standard lines, 500 MB/s) but it is much moreefficient than the integrated graphic card or even – with a good GPU – the dedicated graphic card of theMacBook Pro.
On Mac OS X, games like Batman Arkham City and Starcraft 2 are perfectly fluids on 1600 x 1200 on a 11inches 2012 MacBook Air with a big GPU (a Quadro K5000, equivalent to a GeForce GTX 660/670),even with details at their maximum.
嗯嗯，这样能成功，哈哈，渣渣英语还不如谷歌翻译，跪了！步骤和设置比较麻烦而已，在OSX系统上，像蝙蝠侠阿卡姆城和星际争霸2全特效都可以完美运行中在分辨率上。
好，接下来就是两种外接显卡装置的对比了，首先是ViDock4+吧
ViDock4+ 这个产品设计的非常好，配有加长显卡盒子和电源，做工精细，产品由德国工程师设计与生产质量监控，基本上是一步搞定
ViDock 4+的铝盒长度是329mm。（便于携带，在家或出差都能能很好保护显卡）
可支持功耗高至320W的显卡。
可支持带两个6-Pin外接电源端口的显卡。
自带2个USB 2.0接口。
支持插拔功能(Win 7)。
所支持的显卡自带的电源，能支撑得起功耗高至320W的显卡。黑色那块是我的显卡，贴合得很好显卡槽有个白色的卡扣卡住显卡，这点设计很用心，不用担心显卡接口松掉，而EXP GDC没有盒子的长度是足够的，但是我的显卡散热太大了，没装进，其他的没问题
国产的EXP GDC
1、没有显卡盒子，裸奔试，在家还可以，但是出差什么的显卡保存麻烦，不便携带
2、根据功耗高自行配备主机电源
3、可支持带两个6-Pin外接电源端口的显卡。（自己配的电源要支持）
4、不带USB 2.0
5、不支持插拔功能
6、只支持N卡设计得没有那么精细，也没有卡尺，但是保护好也能用，不支持热拔插，所以小心由于自配的电源，所以比较杂乱，没显卡盒子放置需小心。
好接下来就是两种外接显卡装置的使用感受了，ViDock 4+ 支持热拔插（只在WIM7下支持）非常便捷，可以随时插拔，所以用起来稳定，不会出现显卡风扇突然高转的情况，玩战地3之类的游戏不会出现蓝屏和卡死的情况，帧数稳定，更不会烧坏显卡。
EXP GDC 我的感受是能用，游戏效果差不多，帧数也挺稳定，但是不支持热拔插，所以开机那步骤是要拔插的，2~5步骤那，风扇会高转一下子随后会好，这样是能识别能用的，如果不好必须重启，让他的转速稳定下来，不然高转，显卡发热，会烧坏显卡！玩战地3虽然帧数一样，突然但一到大场面会直接卡死或者蓝屏，调低画质可能会好，因为我所有效果都是全开的。这样使用我不敢保证长期使用这个不会烧显卡。
ViDock4+与EXP GDC两种方案我觉得ViDock更好一点，使用着也放心，质量差别大，所以价格差别也比较大一点，毕竟科技高，大投资，手头比较宽裕一点的，想长期稳定使用的还是选择ViDock，毕竟对自己的Macbook比较好。来个视频结束吧。视频来自：

可以啊，那理论上有expresscard插槽的笔记本都可以这么外接显卡咯？并非局限于macbook吧。。还有就是公版660是不是能塞进vidock4+啊

反正还是挺贵的，不过楼主用心发了。玩游戏还是买个台式机得了，那个盒子就差不多一个顶级i7的钱了，何必呢
