新HP企业(HPE)亮相 发布两项重要举措

[导读]HPE成立以来第一次的对外活动,HPE宣布了两项重要举措:发布HPE Synergy集成系统,携手微软Microsoft Azure发布混合云。
  11月1日,惠普公司正式拆分。11月30日~12月2日,新分拆出来的Hewlett Packard Enterprise(HPE) 在伦敦举行的年度Discover大会上亮相,这是HPE成立以来第一次的对外活动,HPE宣布了两项重要举措:发布HPE Synergy集成系统,携手微软Microsoft Azure发布混合云。
  HPE Synergy集成系统
  HPE对外宣称 Synergy集成系统是为传统和云端应用而设计的第一个平台,利用流动资源池、软件定义智能和统一API,Synergy集成系统可以为企业持续优化传统、私有云资源组合奠定坚实的基础。HPE Synergy集成系统将在2016年第二季度发售,定价信息将在产品上市时公布。
  IDC研究总监Jed Scaramella表示:&为了满足业务需求,CIO和IT经理需要提供越来越以应用为中心的服务。为了保持相关性,IT部门不仅需要提供支持传统投资的可靠而经济的基础设施,而且需要向云提供商那样快速灵活地交付服务。&
  支持这两种截然不同的运营模式需要重新思考IT基础设施的建设方式。通过被称作组合式基础设施(Composable Infrastructure)的全新架构,HPE Synergy集成系统解决了这个挑战。
  HPE Synergy集成系统新的架构包括三个主要设计原则:
  1.流动资源池
  a.计算、存储和结构网络可以被组合并重新组合以满足应用的确切需求
  b.启动后即可立即用于部署工作负载
  c.支持所有工作负载--物理、虚拟和容器化工作负载。
  流动资源池可以减少过度供应并降低资本支出。在目前的典型IT环境中,过度供应和资源不足是很常见的现象。根据自然资源保护委员会(Natural Resources Defense Council)提供的数据,平均服务器过度供应率在12%和88%之间。HPE Synergy因其独特的内置软件智能、自动发现功能和流动资源池让客户能够立即启用基础设施,为运行物理、虚拟和容器化应用做好准备。通过统一的接口,客户可以组合物理和虚拟资源,把过度配置减少60%,节约最高17%的前期资本支出,以及最高30%的后续运营支出。
  2.软件定义智能
  a.自行发现和自行组建所需的基础设施
  b.可重复、无摩擦的更新
  软件定义智能可以让用户以云的速度交付应用。业务部门需要IT部门提供更快速地开发和部署新应用所需的基础设施。HPE Synergy提供软件定义的模板和可引导的映像,让IT部门能够以类似于云的速度交付为任何工作负载做好准备的基础设施。
  传统基础设施平均需要六周3才能上线新的移动应用或服务。受制于需要多层工具的复杂流程以及跨多个部门的协作,建设恰当的基础设施极具挑战性并且耗费大量时间。HPE Synergy使用针对具体应用的模板快速地调用配置流动的基础设施池中的计算、存储和网络资源,以部署基础设施并持续地更新。此外,HPE Synergy将为客户提供一个操作环境映像库,一个人就可以部署组合式基础设施,从而简化IT服务的交付并让IT部门更好地满足业务部门快速变化的需求。
  3.统一的API
  a.一行代码即可提取基础设施的每个元件
  b.100%的基础设施可编程
  c.针对基础设施即服务的裸机接口
  统一的API可以提高用户的生产力和控制力。HPE Synergy提供强大的统一API并建立了日益壮大的的合作伙伴生态系统,其中包括Arista、CapGemini、Chef、Docker、微软、NVIDIA和VMware等。这个统一的API提供统一的接口来发现、搜索、配置、更新和诊断组合式基础设施,用于测试、开发和运行代码。通过一行代码,HPE创新的组合式API可以全面描述和配置应用所需的基础设施,避免了耗时数周的脚本编写过程。

  HPE Hyper-Converged 250混合云服务
  HPE携手微软(Microsoft)宣布了混合云的举措,微软 Azure将成为HPE客户首选公有云合作伙伴,而HPE将成为为微软混合云产品提供基础设施和服务的首选合作伙伴。两家公司将在设计和服务方面进行合作,通过集成创新的计算平台来帮助客户优化IT环境、利用新的消费模式并进一步加快业务运营。
  HPE和微软正在推出面向微软云平台系统标准的HPE Hyper-Converged 250,这是第一个真正具备混合云功能的超融合系统。结合HPE ProLiant技术和微软 Azure的创新,一个Azure管理门户网站使企业用户能够自己部署Windows和Linux工作负载,同时确保IT部门拥有中央监督权。Azure服务提供可靠的备份和灾难恢复,通过面向Microsoft System Center的HPE OneView,客户可以跨所有系统组件获得集成的管理体验。HPE为客户提供硬件和软件支持、安装和启动服务。
  作为扩大的合作伙伴关系的一部分,HPE所有的服务器均可集成Azure,并提供Azure服务,使客户快速从混合云中获益。
  HPE和微软将在加州帕洛阿托和德克萨斯州休斯顿创建HPE Azure卓越中心。微软将加入HPE组合式基础设施(Composable Infrastructure)合作伙伴计划,HPE同样加入了微软的两个计划,通过端到端的云计算、移动化、身份认证和生产力解决方案来帮助客户加速混合云之旅。

MicroServer Gen8属于HPE(Hewlett Packard Enterprise,惠普企业级产品)而不是HP,MicroServer Gen8的支持页面(如驱动下载)在HPE,官网首页是,不是。
HPE大约从2015年起变更了服务支持策略,普通驱动可以无限制下载,但是BIOS、SPP更新等可能需要用主机序列号注册、且在主机质保期内方能下载,超期就只能等待别人搬运分享了。
MicroServer Gen8在AHCI模式时,五个SATA和普通主板的功能一样,唯一不同的是MS G8的BIOS不能选择用哪个硬盘启动。
它会尝试从SATA1引导,如果SATA1没有连接硬盘,则尝试从SATA2引导,以此类推。
可是SATA1~4是硬盘笼子;通常人们都是将4个3.5寸仓库盘放到笼子里面;然后通过SATA5连接一个2.5寸硬盘(放置在9.5mm光驱位置)做系统盘。当五个硬盘都连接时,BIOS仅尝试从SATA1引导,结果出现引导失败。
解决方法就是通过安装一个U盘或MicroSD卡,从而间接引导SATA5接口上的系统盘。
网上给出的方法都是引导Windows系统的,而我们安装的如果是Linux系统的话,则无法简单的使用这些方法来引导系统的。
自己探索了一下,通过使用Rufus来使用并且修改Super GRUB2 Disk的方式来启动Debian的方法。
1.安装Debian Linux系统
只插上光驱位置上的硬盘,然后安装Debian Linux系统,只有这样,才能正常安装系统,否则会出现无法安装到正确的磁盘上面。
2.开启SATA AHCI模式
通过 Intelligent Provisioning安装根本就找不到 tf卡(在 bios中可以把默认的 Dynamic HP Smart Array改成 SATA AHCI模式后就可以顺利安装了,但这样 raid功能也没了)
3.下载必须的软件
下载Super GRUB2 Disk最新的镜像文件,官网为,一定要下载
hybrid版本。
下载Rufus最新的版本,官网地址为
也可以在本网站下载我使用的版本,
4.安装Super GRUB2 Disk到SD卡
按照下图的步骤处理:
只有如下选项才能保证可以在Windows中可以正常访问修改Super GRUB2 Disk已经安装到SD卡上的内容。
5.增加Gen8的启动配置文件
在刻录好的SD卡的
\boot\grub\目录下创建一个名为
Gen8.cfg的配置文件,内容如下:

一般建议是通过指定磁盘的
uuid的方法来启动系统,如果能够确定系统磁盘上存在一个唯一的文件,也可以通过简单的指定文件的方法来让
GRUB2来搜索的方式找到启动磁盘。

并且打开被注释掉的
set timeout=10项目,让系统自动启动,否则需要手工点击一下回车。
