收到新卡后，用户可以拨打农业银行的信用卡电话95599，要先激活卡片，旧卡的债务和积分等会随之转移到新卡上。银行一般都会在信用卡到期前一段时间内发来通知书每一张信用卡都有一定的有效期，至少要在信用卡到期时提前两个月通知银行，例如，农行会在信用卡到期前两个月发来《到期通知书》，但是仍未拿到新卡的，如果持卡人没有主动请求不续卡的话，农行会在卡片到期前将新卡邮寄或者发送给持卡人。旧卡有效期已过，联系客服工作人员，以免因没有及时收到卡片造成的账单逾期等不必要的损失。有效期满的时候，农业银行根据相关规定及持卡人历史用卡记录等，决定是否为持卡人换发新卡，但是如果持卡人不想继续使用卡片
