安装win764位系统到hp&envy&15-j105tx&SSD&固态硬盘
PC-1: HP envy
正常工作的电脑一台，用来下载软件，制作系统安装盘等。
SSD固态硬盘：ADATA
SP310 Msata SSD
U盘：4G及以上
Win7_x64系统ISO镜像
老毛桃WinPE制作工具
安装SSD硬盘
首先将HP envy 15-j105TX AC交流电源拔下，拆下电池，可以看到一枚之前被电池挡住的螺丝，将该螺丝卸下，放置到一个安全地方，别弄丢了。插入SSD固态硬盘以后，硬盘后端后翘起，这里需要一个螺丝来固定它，我这里使用了之前卸下的那个小螺丝。原来的位置就不加螺丝了，因为这个后盖四周卡的都很结实，而且，还有电池挡着这个螺丝孔，应该掉不了，之后有螺丝配的话最后再装一个。安装好SSD之后，合上后盖。第一步就完成了。&
重启发现蓝屏
重新启动机器，发现启动时候会出现一个界面，其中显示了两个硬盘的信息：

在这个设置界面中，我的电脑只可以设置1和6选项，其他选项是不能设置的。两个硬盘如图中也都是NON-RAID
DISK。因而会造成后续的一系列不能安装系统的麻烦，后续再讲。
退出这个界面后，我们进入之前在原有1T硬盘中安装的WIN7系统（我自己装的），发现到达正在启动界面，windows四色logo加载的时候就会蓝屏了。你再重启机器，还是会蓝屏，没有办法进去之前的系统。互联网有人说这是因为两个硬盘模式不兼容导致的，具体内容不表。这里我们也不需要进入之前安装的系统了，与它没有任何瓜葛了，哪怕它现在是空的没有格式化的硬盘也无所谓，我们现在开始安装大戏吧！
做系统盘和winpe启动盘
这一步骤，我们需要完成两个任务：
做一个系统安装U盘：因为HP
envy-15-j105tx是没有光驱的，安装系统只能通过U盘。
做一个winpe启动盘，后续介绍其用意。
系统盘制作步骤如下：
制作系统盘方法很多，简单的可以选择利用微软官方的usb dvd
download来制作，具体的软件下载地址还有制作步骤详见这篇帖子，制作起来非常简单，几乎傻瓜式操作，四步完成。
winpe盘制作也类似，相当简单，可以看这个教程。
下载Intel Rapid Storage Technology（快速存储）驱动
这个驱动的作用是安装到电脑的CPU，即Intel处理器来驱动SSD固态硬盘的。机械硬盘有机械硬盘的驱动，同理，固态硬盘也有器驱动。在后续安装系统的时候需要加载这个驱动来识别SSD硬盘。
所以，这里下载好驱动，最新的驱动下载地址如下：
需要注意的是，如果你的电脑不同，你需要在这个网址的主页查找自己对应的CPU型号的驱动。我这里选择windows
7*，其中包括了64位。
下载好驱动之后，解压压缩包到一个新建文件夹，放到放到系统安装U盘的根目录下。
重启HP envy 15-j105tx，启动时就连续点按F10，进入&
BIOS设置&；
左右方向键进入“&&/SPAN&系统设置（sysytem
configuration）&选项卡；上下方向键进入&&/SPAN&启动选项&；
首先需要开启&&/SPAN&传统模式&开启，之后F10保存退出重启后，再进入BIOS这个界面会出现&&/SPAN&传统模式下的开机顺序&，将U盘F6设置为最上面。在退出界面之前，将系统启动U盘先插入一个USB口中。F10保存退出。
解决“缺少所需的CD/DVD驱动器设备驱动程序”问题
重启机器时候，CPU会从U盘驱动，读取系统安装U盘中的系统安装信息。按照往常，现在就可以顺利将系统安装到SSD中了，但问题出现了，但不一定所有电脑，但肯定会有人的电脑，例如我的，弹出如下界面：
此时，点击浏览，还有可能发现什么盘都没有，连你的系统安装U盘都找不到！真是捉急啊！
没事，问题总有解决的办法。
这里有两种情况。详细说明一下：
第一种情况，如果你点击浏览可以找到你的U盘，那麻烦就小一些。你可以直接跳到第7步安装SSD驱动了。
第二种情况，你浏览什么都找不到，那就采取一下步骤，也很简单：
首先，你执行一个这个帖子所讲的内容，看是否可以解决你的问题。

如果解决，请到第7步。如果没有，可以执行以下步骤：
退出这个界面，重启机器，进入，进入&&/SPAN&系统设置&，将进入操作系统前的设置&先设置为&&/SPAN&自动&，F10保存退出。重启启动，进入之前&&/SPAN&缺少所需的CD/DVD驱动器设备驱动程序&画面，看是否还会出现这个警告，我的电脑此时不会再出现了。
这个问题其实就是CPU没有找到U盘导致的，上面的帖子是通过插拔U盘来解决的，我这里多补充了一个BIOS
USB3.0的设置，一般可以解决这个问题。
如果还是解决，可以提前执行下面步骤，注意，以下步骤会清空你1T机械硬盘还有SSD硬盘中所有数据，如果你有重要数据，可以搜索其他解决方案，不执行一下步骤：
Shift+F10&& ---
&呼出命令界面
Diskpart&&&
进入diskpart工具
List disk&&&
罗列当前所有磁盘，包括U盘
Select disk X ---&
这里的X为数字，我的电脑有两个，一个是0，一个是1
Clean&&&&&&
清除磁盘上所有分区，以及数据，就是什么都没有啦！
Convert mbr& ---
转换为主引导，两个磁盘（1T机械硬盘和SSD都这么做一下）
重启机器，看是否可以看到你的磁盘还有U盘，是否还会出现警告。一般来说，解决方案都在以上罗列的情况中。
7 &安装Intel Rapid Storage
Technology驱动
终于来到这里啦！为SSD安装驱动。从第6步骤过来后，点击浏览，找到存放驱动的系统安装盘的驱动文件夹，执行安装：

安装好以后，如果你可以直接下一步，你就OK拉，正常执行你的系统安装步骤吧，将系统安装到SSD就可以啦。如果不可以，先进入第8步骤。
解决“安装程序无法定位到现有系统分区”问题
进入到这一步骤，一定是出现了“安装程序无法定位到现有系统分区”警告无法点击“下一步”安装系统到SSD的，没有关系，很简单就可以处理。这个问题的原因是因为，我们当前有两块硬盘共存，一块是1T机械硬盘，一块是SSD固态硬盘，那CPU在启动系统的时候需要从那一块启动呢？它不知道，需要我们来设定。
此外，这里如果你看不到你的两块硬盘，可以利用第6步骤中所降到的shift+F10来处理，就可以看到硬盘了。
好，现在来处理“安装程序无法定位到现有系统分区”问题。
拔掉系统安装U盘，插入winpe启动盘，重启机器。系统进入老毛桃WIN7安装主菜单。进入disk
genius设置界面：
进入图形界面之后，首先选中SSD硬盘，按照你的需求建立分区，我的做法只有一个分区。格式化后，将其设置为激活状态！这一步是关键！
还有一个关键步骤！注意！以下的步骤很关键：选中机械硬盘，新建立一个分区，只建立一个分区，不要分为多个分区！之后选中这个分区，将其状态设置为“取消激活状态”：
也就是说，在同一时间，系统只能存在一个活动分区，这样CPU才能识别该分区，启动系统。我们这里讲唯一的一个活动分区设置为SSD硬盘的分区，这样再安装系统就不会出现“安装程序无法定位到现有系统分区”的问题。
为1T机械硬盘分区，建立100M系统保留容量
参照官方说法，如果安装系统到SSD，机械硬盘应该流出100M的系统保留容量，这一步骤就是为达到这个目标的。以下是我的方案，如果你觉得没有必要也可以不执行，官方说法如下：

如果你决定执行留出这100M的容量，键盘在手，跟我走：
拔掉WINPE启动盘，插入系统安装U盘，重启机器。到达分区界面。
如果从第7步直接过来这里的，这时候，你需要先将你的机械硬盘所有分区都删掉，这时会丢失掉所有的数据。选中机械硬盘，点击&&/SPAN&驱动器高级选项&，执行&&/SPAN&删除&。全部删除后，再重新建立分区，这个时候你可以按照自己的想法，想分几个区，就分几个区。此时分区是，系统会自动保留100M的容量出来啦，不用手动的。
如果第8步骤过来的，也是将1T机械硬盘重新分区，建立100M的保留容量。
10 &OK，等待系统完成安装
这里，你只需要舒舒服服点击下一步，或者喝茶看书等待啦。正常的系统安装程序会执行完毕。之后拔掉U盘，设置BIOS为&&/SPAN&系统内置硬盘启动&，此时，系统安装完毕。
将系统安装到SSD硬盘，最好将常会用的大小软件一并安装到SSD硬盘，这样可以提高运行速度，从我的测试看来，像PS
, WORD等软件打开速度明显比之前提升很多很多。所以，建立购置一块较大的SSD硬盘。

I've just received my Dell Inspiron 14z laptop. &It came pre-loaded with windows 8. &I was having a hard time using windows 8, so, I wiped and reinstalled a clean Windows 7 Pro. &However, everytime I start up my laptop, I received this message said, &Your system does not appear to have Intel Rapid Start Technology enabled&.
I checked the BIOS and it is enabled. &I have the most updated BIOS.

Based on the screenshots, I believe the computer has a 500GB SATA hard drive and a 32GB mSATA SSD. In order to utilize the mSATA SSD drive as a cache device, Intel Smart Response Technology has to be enabled in BIOS and configured on the system. After this, Intel Rapid Start Technology can be configured.

I've followed the instruction exactly, but I could not pass the &Acceleration Configuration&.& I tried at least 10 times with every reboot, still getting the same error message.
I am curious what type of filesystem format does the C: partition has to be in order this this to work?& I had it formatted as NTFS
After clicked the ok button shown in the screenshot above, it runs for about 10 minutes and throw an error message below.

As per the first screenshot, it seems you have selected the C drive while enabling Acceleration.
In the &Accelerate Disk or Volume& window, click the drop down arrow and select the mSATA SSD drive. Then select &Enhanced mode&, and click &Ok&.
If issue persists, please let me know if you made any changes in the BIOS while installing Windows 7 on the laptop.

C: drive is the only option in the drop down box and I think that makes sense. &
I did not make any changes to the BIOS, but I did updated the BIOS (A08) file I downloaded from Dell.

Let us try this: Under SSD Configuration, click &Reset to available& which is next to &Usage: Cache device& (Refer image)
Now, check if the mSATA SSD is available for Acceleration.

Reinstalling the operating system seems to be the only possible solution. If you have backed up the data on the computer, refer to the following link for instructions to reinstall Windows 7 with mSATA Drive & Intel Smart Response Technology:
Note: If the hard drive is not recognized during the installation, change the SATA Operation to AHCI and install the operating system.
After reinstalling the operating system, refer to the links available in my first post to configure Intel Smart Response Technology and Intel Rapid Start Technology.

On step #2 &2. & &Go to RAID BIOS(Use Ctrl+I) and disable accelerate option for SSD (Only if HDDs are not detected while OSRI)&
do I press Ctrl+l within the BIOS window?
Another way to say is:
1) power on the pc
2) press the F2 to get into BIOS
3) while in BIOS, press the Ctrl+l to get into RAID BIOS? &
(if yes to number 3, then the Ctrl+l don't work. &It didn't do anything)

Try to initiate the operating system installation with SATA operation set to &Intel Smart Response Technology&. At the stage where the install location needs to be selected, if the hard drive is not shown, exit the installation. Go back to BIOS and change the SATA operation to AHCI. Save the BIOS settings and exit the BIOS. Try installing the operating system.
After installation is done, install the drivers and also the Intel Rapid Storage Technology software. Open Intel Rapid Storage Technology and try configuring the &Intel Smart Response Technology& which should work. If it does not work, restart the computer and go to BIOS, change SATA operation from &AHCI& to &Intel Smart Response Technology&. Now, configure Intel Smart Response Technology after which, we can configure Intel Rapid Start Technology.

I'm getting that same error message, &Your system does not appear to have Intel Rapid Start Technology enabled&., on my new Inspiron 15z. This is a brand new computer - I don't think I should be getting any error messages!

After several attempts, I solved the problem.
I formatted my computer and delete all partitions, including the protected system partitions and also the operating system.
I reinstalled Windows 8 Pro Eng and installed all drivers using Dell Analyze Driver Utility from the Dell support page.

关于Intel Rapid Start Technology和Rapid Storage Technology收藏
由于停留在xp太久了，本来还自诩技术宅来了，发现到了win7/8又变成了小白。废话不多说，由于对也就是“envy4实现5秒快速开机”不是很明白，所以特来深究一下。

主要说说Intel Rapid Start Technology首先还是要理清概念吧休眠，就是把休眠前的内存文件存到硬盘上，然后在下次开机时直接把这部分从硬盘读到内存，实现完全恢复休眠前状态的功能，xp上就有，所以大家应该都很明白；休眠的时候，电脑应该是可以完全断电的。休眠文件是c盘下隐藏的hiberfil.sys待机，这也是xp时代的常用功能，电脑除了内存，其他全部断电。其实功耗也很低了，而且恢复工作比休眠更快，毕竟休眠还有一个读硬盘的过程嘛。缺点是，万一电脑突然断电，就没用了。
关于睡眠，是vista出现后才有的，之前我一直把它当作待机，后来发现两者其实不同呢按照百度所言，睡眠是待机和休眠的结合，所以又称混合睡眠，所以虽然跟待机类似，却又包含了一个将内存内容写入硬盘的过程。可是，在我电脑上（win7），似乎睡眠就是待机，没有写硬盘的过程，打开电源高级选项一看，原来“混合睡眠”是关着的，也就是说，在这个选项关着的时候，睡眠=待机（really？）
应该确实如此，当“混睡”关闭时，开始菜单里就有休眠这个选项，开着的时候，就没有。下面回归正题，Intel Rapid Start Technology是干啥的？之前我的理解是取代休眠，微软的休眠把内容存到c盘那个文件里，Intel Rapid Start Technology就是把休眠文件存到划分好的休眠分区里，当休眠分区是ssd时，读写速度飞快，休眠的效率也就提高了。但是事实证明，我想错了，当我打开这个技术的时候，使用休眠，似乎并没有飞快，跟以前一样。
今天我打开Intel Rapid Start Technology的设置，仔细的查看了一下，设置里“计时器”的解释写得很清楚，当系统处于睡眠一段时间之后，使用Intel Rapid Start Technology。也就是说，其实它要取代的是睡眠，更准确的说是混合睡眠，跟windows的自带休眠其实无关了。果然当我打开这个技术，计时器设为0，点下系统的睡眠时，电脑果真缓缓关闭了（ssd下的休眠），再开机，真的是一瞬间~
补充一下吧，要想这个技术真的生效，还是要关闭系统自带的混合睡眠功能的，不然“休眠”到底是休眠到hiberfil.sys还是休眠分区难以决断。但其实我还是有个问题的，与Intel Rapid Start Technology无关系统自带的休眠，如前所述，应该是写在hiberfil.sys里的，但是，使用系统休眠之后，hiberfil.sys的修改时间并没有变化，而重启电脑，hiberfil.sys才会有变化，不知是何缘故。
再来说说Rapid Storage Technology具体的原理，估计大家都说不清楚吧，反正我简单理解就是用ssd当机械硬盘的缓存，实现加速的效果，鉴于我也开辟了大约20G的ssd用来干这个，所以姑且试试看到底有没有效果
不知道有没有哪位同学也来晒晒hetune速度图，跟我对比对比，要是没用的话，我可不愿浪费那么多ssd啊

为了搞清Intel Rapid Start Technology和待机 睡眠 休眠等等之间的区别，网上找了n多相关的资料，这下终于搞明白了，嘿嘿。。。楼主
我的理解是rapid start和rapid storage 是两个东西。1，rapid start只是解决休眠问题，是代替windows来管理休眠（所以windows自己的休眠要关掉），这两者一个是将内在转存一文件hiberfil.sys，一个是转存到分区。是不是intel考虑转存分区要快一些。如果没有SDD，两种技术都存硬盘上实现，如果有大SSD两种技术都可在SDD实现。这样的实现差别可能不大，但对于只有小SSD来说，也可以有两种技术，一是将SSD做一个盘来存hiberfil.sys，一是在SSD上划一个休眠分区。因此总的来说rapid start与windows不同之处是休眠到分区还是休眠到磁盘，估计休眠到分区更快一点（文件还要经过文件系统的管理）2，rapid storage就是用SDD来做HDD的缓存。在我的thinkpad X230的BIOS中，磁盘只的AHIC和兼容两个选项，没有raid这一项，就不能用rapid storage，但系统带了expresscache来解决这个问题，起同样的作用。总之，rapid start 和rapid storage是两个东西，没有必然的联系，现在网上总将两者一起讲，容易使人混淆，无助于用好这些技术。（我的电脑BIOSk中有Intel Rapid Start Technology [Enable/Disable]，而磁盘没有raid选项。

回复 邪恶脉冲 : 28楼误以为你把Start和Storage捆在一起，这是对你无情的误解…… 我是在查RapidStart是什么鬼，楼主你对 睡眠、休眠、待机 的解释让我有点晕，而28楼话少，所以……对了，既然看了这么多，我也想探究下RapidStart有什么用，怎么用，什么情况下有用。我稍微总结下：RapidStart，快速启动，方式是在 切断电源（选择休眠）前将当前内存中的内容（内存数据）写入硬盘，开机时从硬盘加载内存数据进行开机，理论上是回到了准备切断电源前的状态，包括打开的文档信息、QQ登录状态等都会加载出来；而非传统的重新加载硬盘中的系统文件，打开一个全新的，刚开机的状态。有以下优势：1、恢复到了一个进行中状态（休眠前打开的文档还在，挂着的QQ也还在（待验证）），而不是一个所有程序都没打开的全新状态 —— 这点非常赞2、加载更少的文件，一般来看，系统20G，内存4/8G，不考虑小文件，只读从内存中拷贝出来的数据会快一些，还可以通过 专门的休眠分区 提升这个读取速度；虽然20G的系统不会在开机的时候都读一遍，但内存缓存的数据应该还是小……注意的点：1、机械硬盘的人别玩这个，不想说太多2、大内存（16G+）慎用，假设16G内存，但运行时只用了4G，这时候休眠，是会写4G还是16G呢，如果是4G就还好，16G的话，呵呵，还是选择关机吧非常实用的地方：1、打开了很多文档，在查资料、写论文，突然有事要离开，关机吗？开机时所有文档、资料都要重新打开，麻烦，休眠解决一切~而且，这种时候即使是写16G也是值得的。2、追求极速开机的人楼主你看总结的怎么样。
