PC和主机之争，是一个经久不衰的话题。在最直观的方面，PC由于近些年来多为数字版销售，因而不如实体游戏一样有着足够准确的数据，有些人因而认为PC游戏的实际及利润都远被低估。而谈及PC平台的数字游戏，是当之无愧的首席销售平台。现在Steam在线用户峰值可达到900万，而且据传说Steam每年的销售额高达10亿美元。那么究竟游戏销量是多少呢？Valve自己从来不肯公布。不过有一个平台SteamSpy一直监测着Steam的动向，以下是它们的最近几年来一批3A游戏在Steam平台的销量：《孤岛惊魂3》 260万、《古墓丽影9》（2013） 320万、《巫师2：国王刺客》 340万、《黑暗之魂：受死版》 200万《耻辱》 220万、《侠盗猎车4》 370万、《侠盗猎车5》 260万、《幽浮：未知敌人》 280万、《蝙蝠侠：阿克汉姆疯人院》（年度版） 220万《蝙蝠侠：阿克汉姆之城》 260万、《生化奇兵：无限》 370万、《生化奇兵》 290万、《镜之边缘》 250万《辐射：新维加斯》 380万、《上古卷轴5：天际》 930万、《求生之路2》 1300万对比之下，以《上古卷轴5：天际》为例，实体版销量约为400万套，仅是数字版的一半，而此前《侠盗猎车4》所谓的“70万套PC版销量”也都基于实体版统计，所以如果这些数字全部如实，那么PC版的销量确实比一般人的认知还要高出不少，但也要注意到，这部分在Steam平台上很多是在特价甚至免费阶段取得的，同样有着相对的“水分”，具体能带来的利润恐怕只有厂商自己清楚。此前，万代南梦宫公布《黑暗之魂》系列全世界已经卖出800万份，其中有40%的销量是来自PC平台的。这也证明了PC玩家起到的作用在某些游戏中还是意义重大，即使第一部《黑暗之魂》的PC移植版非常糟糕，第二部《黑暗之魂2》的光照系统很不理想，PC平台依然卖出了320万份。当然这方面始终还有一个更惊人的参考对象：《我的世界》PC版的销量超过了2000万份，这或许也是未来一段时间里难以打破的纪录。 延展阅读：
