Why a Siberian location?
From our perspective, we chose Novosibirsk due to its exotic location and diverse network peerings around Asia and Europe. Novosibirsk has rich history, is isolated and lenient.
Reasons you may choose:
- Project targets users in Asia, for example China mainland and you need fast response time.
- Use the server for gameservers / voice servers / hosting.
- Need basic protection against attacks
- Need an interesting location with quality features or you need to host specific content.
- Use for VPN (IPs are allocated from a clean residential subnet).

Basic filtering of UDP is provided and on best effort basis***, through ACLs and hardware firewalls. Our purpose is to provide an additional layer of protection to ensure maximum uptime. If you are targeted by attacks frequetely, we do not recommend you use our service, however we do have specialised
solutions via Arbor/Cisco Guard at additional costs!
If you run an active website, TCP application or possibly gameserver, we can setup a dedicated remote TCP or HTTP filtering system in Moscow. For websites, Layer 7 filtering is provided through a cluster of NGINX proxies. Please refer to addons upon order for options.
We have colocation space in Rostelecom's Novosibirsk datacentre and server hardware is owned by us. For our hypervisor, we are using 2x Intel E5 CPUs, 48GB DDR3 ECC Registered RAM, Hitachi/Western Digital drives configured in H/W RAID 10 connected on dedicated 1Gbps bandwidth.
Novosibirsk is geographically located in Asia and in the eastern part of Siberia (Russia). We are also using Rostelecom - state owned ISP in Russia.
There are direct peerings with China Telecom, Unicom and China Mobile. You can expect latency of around 100-140ms and stable non-congested traffic.To further connect Asia, PCCW Hong Kong and NTT/KDDI Japan IP transit are used.
For Europe, Rostelecom has superb connectivity via PoPs in Scandinavia, Germany, Ukraine, London and Netherlands.
We've tested the average lowest latency to many local ISPs.

China Telecom BJ - 105ms / China Unicom BJ -110ms / Mobile GD - 135ms

Q: Do you limit/block any sort of ports or services?
A: No, we do not block any services or ports. You are free to install and bind the network interface with any service.
Q: Do you have a refund policy?
A: Yes, we do have a refund policy if you are not satisified with your inital tests. We can only refund within 24 hours of server activation. If we see abnormalities with your server, you will not be refunded.
Q: What operating systems can be installed?
A: Since we are using hardware KVM virtualisation for our hypervisor, any sort of OS that can be installed through an ISO is supported. Please be aware that the provisioning of Windows incurs an extra fee.
Q: Do you offer custom packages?
A: Sure! We can offer any sort of configurations that is suited to your needs. Please contact us through email or ticket for further details.
Q: Are you virtual servers managed?
A: We offer some management (semi-managed) of your virtual machine, and this includes basic monitoring and system checks. If it is an isolated incident relating to a customised script or software, we may charge an extra fee.
Q: How I purchase additional IPs?
A: You can buy additional IPs through the addon section of our billing manager or submit a ticket for customised offers. We can offer IPs in different regions (e.g. in AFRNIC, ARIN) for geolocation or specialised purposes.

点评：BuyVM一直是朋友们比较喜欢的一家15美元年付VPS主机商，要求比较严，比如要审核账户，又比如一个账户中哪怕一个VPS没续费没取消其他的都一起停掉等，不过长期的饥饿营销玩的很通透，国内玩家争抢的局面，在2012年中才得到有效缓解。

点评：DirectSpace就是我们常说的DS，以前最火的莫过于他的2美元月付产品，黄牛价格老高了，不过这款15美元年付套餐推出来的时间不久，是今年10月份推出的，最初的配置也跟上面的BuyVM相当，不过11月份不知道他发什么神经，直接将配置调到目前的水准，光看配置的话，这个价格已经难出其二了。

点评：2012年低价VPS的热门之选：，曾有中文客服，曾用中文名恩组。虽然从这款15美元年付上看不到与其他VPS主机商的优势，不过越往高处走越胆颤心惊。他在2011年都没有类似的价格，其时虽然长期提供五折优惠后都高于现在的常规价格，加上热门的，叫人如何不爱？

点评：也许因为数据中心的关系，大家对这家比较陌生，不过这可是一家成立于2003年的国外VPS主机商，拉斯维加斯的速度在国内访问也很棒，最值得一提的是，这家主机商的支持票回复如他广告说的基本一致，都能在30分钟内回复，一般是几分钟，有时候服务和产品是同样重要的，我个人也最恨那种支持单发了等他自动关闭掉的主机商，就算挂了你也回复下，表示有人在想办法，多好。

点评：BlueVM也是一直走低价路线的国外VPS主机商，赵容也未能幸免冲动下手他的26美元年付，他同时也提供15美元年付的产品，不过配置就比较一般了。这家老板是技术帝，TK如果找不到人的话，建议去IRC，他们常在那边呆着。

点评：曾经的一个定义，引起轩然大波。123systems最低的不仅于此，另一款128MB产品年付仅10美元，他也曾疯狂的将他们分别降价到5美元和10美元/年，虽然我账户中有差不多10台他两个数据中心不同配置的产品，但我郑重的决定，不做评价！

数据中心：佛罗里达州
点评：除了便宜，就是便宜，当然，配置也是非常低的了，但只有更低没有最低，他还有32MB内存的产品呢，年付不到9美元，这家有时候还搞点促销，上面这款打个折扣就到10美元以下了，不过，便宜是不错，可惜数据中心不为国内用户喜爱，所以中国客户群难成气候啊。

其实呢，卖或者卖过的还挺多的，比如菲律宾人开的Jolly Works Hosting，又比如饭桶旗下的YardVPS，RamHost旗下的TinyVZ，已经关门大吉的nordicvps，vazapi等，还有台湾佬Hostitek卖过洛杉矶的16美元年付，还有些不甚出名的比如SpotVPS，YourVZ等等，非常多，我就不一个个的去列出来了。这些VPS都不错，不到100块钱，独立IP，做做代理，挂个博客绝对没有问题，赵容就在BuyVM上放了一个博客一个论坛，毫无压力。聪明的主机购买方式
